I'm Lynda and I am a Qualified, Experienced Counsellor and Psychotherapist (CBT). I have experience within my Private Practice working with Adults and Young People 16 years and over who come in with a wide range of issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, Bereavement, OCD, Low Self-Esteem and Relationship issues.

I have also completed training with Gamcare, who are a national charity providing information and counselling support around gambling and addiction.

My Role as a Counsellor

Counselling can allow you the space to talk about your concerns and difficulties which you may be unable to share with others.  I believe that the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client is the key to positive change and with this in mind I aim to offer a safe confidential and non-judgemental environment.

I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework.

I have monthly supervision which ensures I am working ethically and safely.

I am fully insured and attend regular workshops and training to remain current and up to date in my practice.

How I Work

I am a Person-Centred /Integrative Counsellor which means I can be flexible in how I work depending on your needs

Alongside using a Person Centred approach I am also qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Using CBT can be really helpful to identify and change your negative patterns of behaviour or thoughts. By working together in this way we can enable you to make the changes for a positive happier life.

I am able to offer you short, medium or long-term counselling here at Broadstone Counselling.
